Supporting Advance Australia Council’s Melbourne Cup Charity Luncheon 2023 #MCBKK2023
Silk Legal are proud to support various charitable events throughout the year, and one of the leading events for Australians in Thailand is the Melbourne Cup. The Advance Australia Council in Bangkok are hosting a volunteer run charity luncheon in support of three charities this year, namely Hands Across the Water, Shalem House and Born to Live will receive part of the ticket price as well as all of the money raised through various activities at the luncheon, including a raffle, a silent auction and a lucky horse draw.
Over THB 800,000 has been raised in donated gifts for the raffle and as prizes from a wide array of sponsors, as well as the time invested by the volunteers themselves. Silk Legal are contributing graphic design and project management skills as well as buying our places at the event as its all for charity and charity starts at home.
This endeavor would not be possible without a strong team and we’re proud that our skills are well received in the community. We wish the team the best of luck at the event on 7 November.
